In his role as National Director, Aboriginal Services, Ismo brings over 30 years of financial services experience and an effective ability to communicate to a broad spectrum of issues related to change management, communication planning and financial education. Ismo works as part of the Aboriginal Services team for T.E. Wealth and leads the delivery of communication and education strategies for First Nation clients of T.E. Wealth across Canada. Through T.E., Ismo is on the education committee for the National Aboriginal Trust Officers Association (NATOA). Personally, he is also a member of the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association (AFOA) and has written a number of articles for AFOA’s Journal for Aboriginal Management. Ismo works closely with human resource professionals to audit their existing financial education programs and design complimentary programs that assist them in meeting their fiduciary responsibilities. He is a regular speaker on such matters having recently spoken at the Canadian Institute 50 Best Employers Conference as well as the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association (AFOA) National Conference. Ismo also consults on matters relating to adult learning and literacy.
